PlayOn decals come shipped in a specially designed box for safe and easy removal. Simply remove the core from the box and unroll each panel. If your logo is one panel, you can skip to step 5. Otherwise, find where you want your logo to be applied and place the center panel there.
Once you are happy with the placement of your panel, tape the middle of the panel perpendiculary to the floor. This will hold the decal in in place for the next step.
Starting on one side of the decal, peel the decal up from the paper towards the opposite side of the decal until you reach the point you taped in the last step. You don’t have to do it all at once, or in a particular way, just getting the decal to the taped point. The adhesive backing will not completely stick until pressure is applied, so don’t worry about accidentally re-sticking the decal to the backing paper.
Below the taped point and once the decal is completely removed from the side you intend to stick first, cut the paper at a point close to the taped down section, but not up to it. It doesn’t have to be exact, just as close as you feel comfortable from the taped section, 2 to 3 inches away from it. The paper can be thrown away at this point.
Take the decal and pull it back towards the position it was in in step one. You don’t have to stick it, just pull it back until it is in the position you intend to stick it in. The decal will not adhere to the floor until pressure is applied with the squeegee, so feel free to move it around until you are happy with the positioning.
Slowly press the decal to the floor evenly using a felt squeegee. Be careful to make sure that there are no bubbles or ridges.
Remove the tape that you applied in step 2.
Walk the unattached side of the decal over the attached side and set down. Remove the paper by walking backwards.
Use a broom handle to pull the decal back into the desired position. Remember that it will not stick to the floor before using the squeegee, so position it as needed.
Just like in step 6, apply the decal to the floor using the felt squeegee.
Put the remaining panels in place, with a one inch overlap on the first panel.
